We’re heading into a new year. It’s time to ditch your trusted looks and be adventurous. We’ve browsed the style guides to come up with these hot looks that will be the street fashion trends of 2012. They’re fresh but easy to wear, so why not give them a try?

Formal

• High Braided Bun: Here you’ll find a classic look with a twist, appropriate for ladies with medium to long hair. It’s also easy to do at home, even if you’re not a natural stylist. Follow Beyonce’s example.
• Sunset Eyes: Combine copper, pink, and bronze eyeshadows to create a dramatic, bold, and beautiful eye. Use a brush to place the darker bronze and brown shades just underneath your brow bone.

First-Date

• Bright Pink Lips: You might think bright lips are hard to wear, but they’re surprisingly easy. Why? Because with bright lips, you’re free to leave the rest of your face relatively neutral (in fact, you should). Foundation, concealer, groomed eyebrows, and mascara, and you’re ready to roll. • Homemade Curls: It’s no secret that wearing your hair down, but styled, is a way to attract attention on a first date. For ladies with medium to long hair, homemade curls are making a statement in the new year. Pair the curls with a side part and you’re good to go.

• Dewy Opal Eyes: This look utilizes gleaming pearl or light pink shadow, along with layers of mascara. Ditch your liner for the day, and you’ll have a look that is pretty without being too much for the office.
• Retro Bun: The low bun with a side part featured here is an easy retro look that can work for anyone with short to long hair. You’ll need a wide comb, hairspray, and a curling iron.

We’ve attended a house blessing/baby christening yesterday. We can’t make-up of our mind what type of gift should we bring that will truly please the hosts since we cannot think of something that the owners didn’t already have yet. Then a bright idea just popped-up, a customized photo canvas featuring the hosts’ whole family. A family photo that looks like a painting they can hang on the wall of their newly built home. We turned it into sepia color to create a conventional feel to the canvas, had it framed and the result is very nice, the hosts can’t thanked us enough. We’re very glad coz they knew we really exerted our effort to give them a unique gift.
