Sharing this video of 4-minute workout you can do at home (video credit to the owner, You’reGorgeous).
Since it’s too hot to go out due to this summer heat and also the bizarre traffic you encounter on the road everyday, here’s a few minutes of exercise you can do at the comfort of your home anytime of the day.
Just add a bit of music to keep you going like the sound of musiciansfriend.com alto sax and before you know it, you have finished one session and be ready for another one, just a reminder for beginners, do at your own pace and try to do at least 15 to 20 minutes and you’re gonna be gorgeous, fit and healthy in no time. Enjoy!
OMG it’s already a month after the holiday season officially ends and you haven’t shed off those extra pounds accumulated during those times. lol. #RealityCheck – One of the hardest things to do is to go on diet if your meaning of diet is starving yourself which is very very wrong. You just need to lessen your intakes of carbs, fats and sweets which were abundantly served at the feast table during the holiday season. Okay, easily said than done, been there and I always get sidetrack, I’m just human you know, hahaha. DISCIPLINE is really the key. 🙂

Eat more healthy food like veggies and fruits and sweat out those excess weight by simply walking, running/jogging, go up and down the stairs of your home or office (lessen the elevator rides and you’re doing your company some favor by saving on electric bills and yourself more). Do some stretching/dancing work-out at home in the tune of lively music, you can try to look at guitarcenter.com has komplete 10 for more bubbly music accompaniment.
There’s no harm in trying and you might succeed without noticing it. 🙂
Food and music go together when we celebrate birthdays and holidays at home. We rarely go out and eat in restos, most of the time we cook or order food and have them here at home where we can eat all we can and to top the occasion we have our videoke machine ready for non-stop singing, hehehe. Yes all family members are music lovers and can belt out a tune or two quite good except me, lol.. Listening to music and singing is a good way of relaxation and experts say singing is good for the health specially for the heart because:
“It’s a great way to keep in shape because you are exercising your lungs and heart. Not only that, your body produces ‘feel good‘ hormones called endorphins, which rush around your body when you sing.”
Besides singing along with a videoke machine, learning to play musical instruments like guitar to accompany you is a good way to tap your other talent, you can visit website like musiciansfriend.com to see more musical instruments of your interest.

When we said healthy it means an over-all wellness of the body, including oral which is our teeth. Every family should have a regular dentist like Dublin OH family dentist that will take care of the family’s oral health.
Oral hygiene is very important since bacteria can live in your mouth in the form of plaque, causing cavities and gingivitis, which can lead to periodontal (gum) disease. In order to keep your mouth clean, you must practice good oral hygiene every day.

But this is not enough as we also have to have our teeth and gums checked regularly by dentist. With thorough dental clean once every six months to ensure that no cavities exist in our teeth. Having poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of dental and medical problems in the future such as gum disease, heart disease, infection, strokes, bone loss and more. Regular check ups and cleanings can prevent these problems as well as provide you with good oral hygiene.
Here some of the dental hygiene tips to follow for healthy teeth and gums:
- Brush at least twice a day or after every meal to avoid bacteria buildup from food left in your mouth or rinse mouth thoroughly if brushing is not possible.
- Flossing to remove food particles left between teeth
- Avoid smoking – as it can stain teeth with tartar from cigarettes and tobacco and also very detrimental to your health specially your lungs
- Avoid or lessen intakes of sodas, coffee and alcohol
- Eat fruits and drinks rich in calcium and vit. D as these are very essential in maintaining healthy teeth and gums, like milk, fortified orange juice, yogurt, broccoli, cheese, and other dairy products.
- Visit dentist twice a year as regular check-up
- Don’t forget to clean your tongue when you brush your teeth as it is as important as brushing your teeth because countless of bacteria harbor beneath those spaces in your tongue.
- Use mouthwash in addition to your tooth brushing activity.
Remember, a beautiful smile starts with a clean and healthy set of teeth.
Stress can put a strain on our body thus resulting to fatigue, irritability and unhealthy relationship with the people around us. Browsing my Facebook timeline, I found this video that could help ease out the pain and make us feel better. Very timely indeed as I’m suffering again with back ache and badly needed a massage like these.

So I saved this on my timeline for future use for my husband and me, where we can follow the step by step procedure to massage each other when we both feel tired and worn out and need to relax our weary muscles. Massaging regularly also regulates blood circulation leading to a sound and healthy mind and body, which is what music can do as well specially with tools like pioneer ddj sx for better listening.
So if you are suffering from fatigue, a little massage like in the video will help a lot.
