From Farmville to Farmland
Farmville is very popular among Facebook users, young and old alike, even a small child can learn to plant and harvest different plants and trees. And with this knowledge, a brilliant idea was conceived by the Philippine National Police Los Baños in the province of Laguna. Inviting young students to participate in the tree planting.
So instead of just planting virtual plants and trees in Farmville on their Facebook account, they now experienced of doing it in real life. The kids enjoyed what they have done. This also taught them the importance of having trees not only for the environment but also for the future of the coming generation like them. Let us hope that this will serve as eye-opener to other schools and organizations for them to follow this example, and hopefully the illegal loggers will not destroy this beautiful project for their own illegal activities.

Just looking at your article on my new Pure phone, and I wanted to see if it would let me comment or if it was going to me go to a full pc to do that. Ill check back later to see if it worked.

That’s a very nice project lalong lalo na dyan sa atin..
yes Rose, sayang nmn ung mga vacant lot dito, if not be planted with trees.
hahhaha…ang cute….that is much better….:)
cute pati ung mga kids na nagtatanim, nakakatuwang panoorin
it really is great to let the children involve in this kind of activity and let them know how important plating trees is. on my part, id rather plant on famville, kawawa ang mga tanim if ako ang magtanim, namamatay. hehehe. only in farmville lang ako nka experience mag harvest ng tinanim ko. hahaha
the younger the better to teach them to love and protect the environment.
Oo nga, Josie. My brother is encouraging me to play that Farmville. Wala naman ako time. But I congratulate those kids for doing the real thing.
me too, before I was very active in planting and harvesting my crops, pero medyo busy na din.
